The day has finally come, and Dalan is released from the hospital into the care of…a Clan Acolyte. Given how close his family had been during his recovery, this leaves him feeling a bit unsettled.
It isn’t until he finally sets foot on Clan soil once more that the reason for the Acolyte’s presence is revealed, much to Dalan’s horror.
